You will need:
¼ lb. fresh (or 3 oz packet frozen) chicken livers
seasoned flour
1 oz. butter OR margarine
2 Slices bread squeeze of lemon juice

2 Slices bread squeeze of lemon juice
Process:
1. If frozen , thaw and separate the chicken livers. Trim away any core and roll in seasoned flour.
2. Fry in hot butter for 2-3 minutes until browned.
3. Meanwhile toast bread and butter.
4. Add a squeeze of lemon juice to livers, then lift out on to slices of hot buttered toast and serve.
